How the platform is engineered.
For architects and engineering leads: how we move a live estate to Keycloak without changing the applications that depend on it, what the accelerator contains, and the evidence behind it.

Zero change is the objective. Compatibility is the test.
Follow a staged transition designed to preserve consuming services. A deliberately failed compatibility check triggers rollback until the contract is proved.
Start with the existing customer journey.
Traffic remains on the incumbent platform while the team builds and validates the alternative.

This example deliberately includes a failed compatibility check and rollback.
What does enterprise production add to Keycloak?
Most of the cost and risk in an identity platform sits outside the software: environments, release control, resilience and operations. The accelerator arrives with that engineering already built, so a programme starts with your journeys rather than the plumbing, and upgrades are rehearsed rather than improvised.
The assets behind repeatable enterprise deployments.
Reusable source, scripts and templates shorten setup work, but deployment design, customer integrations and controls must still be tested in each estate.
Resilience and change
Helm and Kubernetes deployment templates, high-availability patterns, scaling, multi-region options, blue/green changes and rollback.
Security and operations
Versioned configuration, CI/CD, secrets integration, hardened baselines, monitoring and log correlation.
CIAM journeys and integration
Reusable authentication flows, authenticators and integration assets, adapted to the consuming services and agreed compatibility contracts.
Evidence from actual implementations.
Four bank estates in 2025
Complex migrations and upgrades of identity estates at tier 1 and tier 2 banks, in four countries.
Published evidence ↗Production-like resilience testing
An Asian gaming provider’s test reached 1,700 TPS against a 1,667 TPS target. In simulated failovers the reported RTO was 10 to 15 minutes and RPO was zero.
Published evidence ↗Build, license, or buy it built?
