Ping AIS and AIC

Your Ping platform keeps failing. Your customers notice first.

Outages, stalled upgrades or releases that break log-in on Ping Advanced Identity Software (formerly ForgeRock) or PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud. We take over estates other firms built and make them stable, supportable and ready to change.

You will speak to Juan Redondo, co-founder and Director of Identity.

Sound familiar?

The signs that a Ping estate needs recovering.

If one of these is true, the cost is already landing on your customers.

  • Customers are locked out often enough for the board to ask why.
  • An upgrade of Ping AIS has slipped for months. The support deadline gets closer every week.
  • Configuration changes to PingOne AIC break journeys in production. So the business has stopped asking for change.
  • The firm that built it has moved on, or lost your confidence.
What we have done

Most of our identity work starts where another firm left off.

Clients are not named. Each result is a separate engagement on a Ping or ForgeRock estate at a tier 1 or tier 2 bank.

Tier 1 bank · Customer identity

Daily outages ended within two weeks.

The platform was failing every day because of its configuration. We stabilised it and made it highly available. Response times fell from around four seconds to under 400 ms, and to under 100 ms after four months.

Tier 1 bank · Platform upgrade

An upgrade stalled for two years, delivered.

The previous programme could not complete it. We delivered it without disruption to customers.

Bank · Release process

Releases that caused outages, made safe.

Deployments were causing outages and confidence was low. We fixed how changes reach production and restored that confidence.

Tier 1 bank · Performance testing

9,000 transactions per second, proven.

Demonstrated in performance testing on the bank's Ping platform, and on Midships Keycloak for comparison.

Our engineers hold more than 29 Ping certifications, and in 2025 we completed four complex Ping migrations and upgrades at tier 1 and tier 2 banks in four countries. Midships is independent of Ping Identity and does not resell its licences.

How we start

A conversation about the business problem, not a sales pitch.

First · free · about 45 minutes

What the first conversation establishes

  • What the failures are costing: customers, operations, regulators.
  • What recovery involves, how long it takes and the risks along the way.
  • The investigation we would propose, and what we would need from you.

It is not a root-cause finding. That needs your logs, architecture and configuration.

Then

A fixed-price diagnostic, then recovery

A fixed-price, fixed-duration diagnostic establishes the root causes and a recovery plan, followed by the recovery itself. Midships can then operate the platform, or hand it back to your team.

Next step

Tell us what is happening on your Ping estate.

Juan Redondo, co-founder and Director of Identity, will reply personally, usually within one working day. Or email sales@midships.io and mention “Ping recovery”.
