The qualities that matter at Midships
We hire specialists, not generalists — people with genuine technical depth who care about the outcomes they produce.
Technical depth in IAM, DevSecOps, or product
We work with Ping Identity, Keycloak, Kubernetes, and enterprise security infrastructure. Hands-on experience at a production level matters. We can teach context — we cannot teach curiosity or rigour.
Outcome orientation
We measure success by what clients achieve. We look for people who care about the result — who push back when something is not working and suggest a better path.
Comfort with ambiguity
We work on complex programmes with high stakes and imperfect information. The ability to make sensible decisions without perfect clarity — and communicate them clearly — is essential.
A preference for directness
We say what we think. Internally and with clients. We value people who deliver difficult messages well and receive them without difficulty. Transparency starts in hiring.
Self-direction
